100x Heavy Duty Blue Linking Chairs - East Sussex

Description

These very robust hard wearing chairs are currently used in a busy church and community centre in Eastbourne, East Sussex.

They have done a fantastic job keeping our congregation very comfortable for the last 20 years but are due to be replaced with a light weight model in September.

We have 100+ available (we like them so much we are keeping some back for special occasions, but we could probably let 150 of them go if that was what you required). There are 10 with arms.

We're asking for £10 per chair in any quantity.

Chairs link via a metal ring on the front leg which the leg of the next chair goes into.
This provides a fully flexible set up including curved / circular rows and right angles in horse shoe formations.

In their current setting the space is reconfigured for different activities on a daily basis, this has been very easy to do, but now our volunteers are somewhat older, they are finding the weight of them a bit of an issue.

They can stack 6 - 8 high and have a large pocket on the back.

With 3" medium firm upholstery on both the seat and the back with a hardwearing but soft fabric these chairs really are unbelievably comfortable and even in their used state feel luxurious to sit on.

They are, as you can imagine, very well used, most are a bit bobbly and the frames are in less than perfect cosmetic condition. There are marks on the fabric of many of them as would be expected with a chair this old. However, they will likely clean up well and remain the most comfortable chair of it's type and they have lots of life left in them.
